GeoDI Lab members attended the 2026 American Association of Geographers (AAG) Annual Meeting held in San Francisco from March 17 to March 21, 2026.

Dr. Di Zhu hosted the session series Symposium on Spatial AI and Data Science: Frontiers and Applications: AI and Spatial Networks and gave a talk entitled A Context-Enhanced Graph Neural Network Operator for Edge-to-Edge Learning in Human Mobility Networks on March 20th, 2026.

Zhongfu gave a talk entitled LLM-Empowered Discovery of Spatial Interaction Equations in Urban Dynamics for the session Symposium on Human Dynamics Research: Geospatial AI for the Science of Human Mobility on March 19th, 2026.

Jacob gave a talk entitled Modeling Commuter Refueling Friction: A G2SFCA-RL Approach to Siting EV Chargers for the session GeoAI and Deep Learning Symposium: GeoAI for Spatial Analytics and Modeling on Mar 17th, 2026.

Meicheng participated in the GISS Student Competition and gave a talk entitled A graph-based deep population downscaling model on irregular spatial units on Mar 17th, 2026.

Meicheng also co-organized the session series GISER Symposium: Sensing Human Experiences with Emerging Geospatial Methods on Mar 19th, 2026.
