Di gave an invited guest lecture at the College of Design, University of Minnesota

On April 28, 2026, Di Zhu delivered an invited guest lecture titled “Spatial Networks and GeoAI for Urban Social Sensing” in ARCH 5721: Future Cities as a Frontier of Urban Design at the College of Design, University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

Invited by Prof. Dingliang Yang, Professor Zhu introduced students to how spatial networks, human mobility data, and GeoAI methods can support the sensing, modeling, and interpretation of urban social dynamics. Di also discussed how geospatial data intelligence can help reveal the connections among people, places, and urban environments, offering new perspectives for understanding future cities through computational and spatial thinking.
